About
WHAT IS MY STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY
I have been thinking about this for some time and sometimes wondering if I have a "style". It's the old problem, "can't see the wood for the trees". I've been looking at the question the wrong way, I'm not an impressionist, nor an impersonator of anothers style.
By this I do not mean every picture has to be high contrast or maximum saturation. Every picture simply has to be the best I can make it. That way it has maximum impact for you, the viewer.
My other main aim is to reduce the content of my images to the minimum, "less is more" and thereby maximises the impact again.
Success is a journey, not a destination point. So is a style, it evolves and adapts to the photographer, his subject and everything around him.
My preference is for taking landscape photographs and flower photographs but I will, and do, take pictures of anything that appeals. I have been taking pictures for over 50 years and selling them over the www since 2002.
I am a qualified photographer and member of The Royal Photographic Society.
You can buy prints or acquire a licence for advertising, editorial or other use. I am also available to produce commissioned work. My pictures have been published by magazines, used for advertising, on greetings/birthday cards and on the internet etc.
