It's hard to get up early

especially when you forget to switch your alarm on. Last night I set my alarm for 5:00 but it was past 5:30 when I woke and I watched the dawn break as I drove to the south of the county. Fortunately I arrived at the first location while there was still some colour and a fine mist and was repaid by the best couple of hours I have had in a long while. Too many keepers to show them all here but just to whet your appetite for some of the images that will find there way onto the gallery pages soon here's the first of the day.
